Description
A collection of tasks that ask pupils to define key terms, label diagrams, sequence sentences, to compare aerobic and anaerobic respiration and to explain what happens in a bell jar model and a respiration in peas experiment.
The author recommends the Tanio http://www.tanio.cymru/ and BBC Bitesize https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/guides/zs8nycw/revision/1 websites. When teaching face to face, the author uses the bell jar model and an exercise that requires the pupils to hold one arm above their heads and the other below, and to open and close their hands as quickly as possible for 2 minutes. The raised hand respires anaerobically and therefore will start to burn.
