This set of four PDFs is a sequence of lessons on migration. In Year 8 students study Population. Migration is an important element of this topic, especially as it can sometimes be misrepresented in the media. Students learn about why people migrate, where they migrate to, who migrates, how migration affect us and how countries set out to manage migration. Students not only enhance their numeracy and literacy skills but they also have an opportunity to show empathy towards refugees and migrants.
